Business Cloud Setup

Cloud Setup & Management

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and cloud application setup done right from the start.

Most businesses set up Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace by clicking through a wizard and accepting defaults. The defaults are not secure, and the setup is often missing critical configurations for email deliverability, user management, and data governance. We set it up properly and manage it ongoing.

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Setup

Setting up a cloud productivity platform is more than creating user accounts. Proper setup includes: verifying your domain ownership, configuring MX records for email delivery, setting up email authentication records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) to prevent spoofing, configuring multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies, and establishing data retention policies for compliance.

We also configure the security features that are often left disabled: Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (ATP) for email threat protection, DLP policies to prevent sensitive data from being emailed out, and audit logging to track who accesses what.

Email Migration

Migrating email from one platform to another — or from an on-premise Exchange server to Microsoft 365 — is a common high-risk operation. Done wrong, email is lost, mail flow is disrupted, and your team can't communicate during the transition.

We plan email migrations meticulously: pre-migration audit, MX record preparation, migration execution with zero mail loss, cutover coordination, and post-migration verification. We also plan for the DNS propagation window so your team isn't waiting hours for email to work.

Ongoing Management

Cloud platforms require ongoing management: adding users when employees join, revoking access when they leave, license management as your team grows, troubleshooting email delivery issues, and applying security updates and policy changes as the platforms evolve.

We handle this ongoing management as part of managed IT service agreements, or on a per-incident basis for smaller teams that change infrequently.
